Director of Public Health Report

The Director of Public Health Annual report is a statutory requirement under the Health and Social Care Act 2012, and the local authority has a duty to publish the report. It is the opportunity for the Director of Public Health to provide an expert independent view on the health and wellbeing of the population of the area for which they are responsible. As part of this report, the Director of Public Health makes recommendations for action based on evidence from national, regional and local sources.
