Impacts of coronavirus (COVID-19) in Herefordshire

The latest (April) edition of our Economic Impacts of COVID-19 summary has just been published. Overall indications are that the latest lockdown has not had as big an impact as the first, either nationally or locally. In Herefordshire, the number of people claiming unemployment related benefits remained stable in March at 4,800, however this is still more than double the pre-pandemic number.
We also produce a fortnightly coronavirus update, which includes analysis of the latest published data on cases and deaths, as well as other statistics, for example about numbers of tests carried out and the age profile of confirmed cases.
